This XTB frameset was handmade at "The Hall", the Moulton factory in Bradford-upon-Avon. Custom build by PortaPedal Bike.

The Moulton XTB is a contemporary interpretation of one of Alex Moulton's most innovative designs: the AM-ATB. It was the world's first double suspended mountain bike. The Moulton XTB brings full suspension comfort to all kinds of rough roads, trails, and gravel paths. The double suspension not only isolates you from the surface chatter, but keeps both tires tracking when the going gets tough, providing greater stability and safety. The separable frame allows the bike to pack down to a small size quickly for easy transport to the trailhead.

SPECIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS: Frame: Moulton separable space-frame fillet-brazed construction with Columbus Spirit, Kaisei NiCroMo and Reynolds' steel tubing. Stainless steel dropouts; adjustable Moulton leading link front suspension fork, and adjustable rear rubber cone suspension.

Transmission: 1x11 speed, Sugino RD2 170mm crankset with WolfTooth Drop-Stop 42t narrow/wide chainring, Shimano XT Shadow rear derailleur, S-Ride 11-speed 11-36 cassette, 23"-77" gear range, MicroShift SB-M110 1x11 drop-bar shifter/brake levers.

Wheels: Velocity Dyad double-wall alloy rims 36 spoke, Velocity Mountain hubs front and rear, DT Champion 14g spokes; Maxxis Grifter 20 x 2.1 tires.

Included: ProMax seatpost 31.6mm x 400mm, Brooks All-Weather Cambium saddle, MKS Allways Quick Release pedals, Brooks rubber bar tape on FSA drop 42cm Adventure bar, TRP Spyre mechanical rear disc brake caliper, TRP 140mm rear rotor, Box3 front V-brake.
