Very nice 1960’s vintage Amica folding bike by Carnielli of Italy. It is in good shape mechanically with everything operational, totally rideable. Even the Dynamo lighting system works though lights are dim by today’s L.E.D. standards.
Cosmetically, the bike definitely is showing its 50 year-old age with the original paint showing scratches and rubs; some of the chrome parts exhibit a bit of rust and pitting. The paint is bright, however, and most of the chrome looks almost new as can been seen on the original fenders. The saddle has some tears.
The hub bearings have been cleaned and lubed, and turn extremely smooth. Original brakes still demonstrate good stopping power.
Bike still folds as designed and both seat post and stem are fully adjustable, via quick-release, to complete the folding process.
This bike is just a fun bit of history for any folding bike enthusiast to own!
